Do you want the best care for your Persian cat?
We show you the 3 steps you must follow to achieve it
1. BRUSHING
- Persian cats require regular care, the most important of which is brushing.
- Brushing 2-3 times a week will be enough to keep the coat untangled and help remove shedding hair.
- For a well-maintained coat, a thorough brushing with a slicker brush and comb will be sufficient.
- For a tangled coat, we must use a detangling spray conditioner to avoid pulling.

Comb
Artero double-pin comb is ideal for pulling out shedding hair and for very dense coats.
Slicker Brush
Artero Nala Slicker Brush with a flexible and articulated head. One side with protected pins to prevent scratching during intense work and the other side with regular pins for general work.
Rake
The Artero Echo Rake is designed to help remove excess loose hair and tangles.
Detangler
The Artero Matt-X detangler is perfect for untangling long hair without irritating the skin.
Shampoo
The Artero Speed Shampoo restores the coat's cleanliness of the first day without the need for washing.
2. BATHING
- Bathing is essential to maintain our cat's hygiene, eliminate bad odors, and remove dander.
- Conditioning the coat will help remove a large amount of shedding hair in the tub and help prevent future tangles.
- When we cannot bathe or our cat rejects water, we can perform a dry cleaning with damp cleaning gloves.

Shampoo for Long Hair
Artero 4cats Shampoo is highly respectful of the skin and coat. Indicated for long hair.
Conditioner
Super-moisturizing conditioner Artero Mascarilla 4Cats Vital for caring for the coat of all types of cats.
Hygiene Gloves
The Artero Plis Plas 4CATS gloves, ideal for daily use and disposal to maintain pet cleanliness.
3. HYGIENE
- Ear hygiene is fundamental. Removing earwax (cerumen) and keeping the ear canals clean and ventilated will prevent possible infections and itching.
- The buildup of eye discharge (sleep/gunk) and dirt in the nose is common; cleaning these areas with finger cots (wipes) almost daily will be essential.
- Having a breath freshener for cats with bad breath can help with coexistence.

Dips Finger Cots for Ears
For proper ear hygiene, we will use Dips Finger Cots for Ears. These remove earwax (cerumen) and dirt from the external ear area.
Dips Finger Cots for Eyes
To remove tear stains and other secretions from the ocular area, we will use Dips 4CATS Finger Cots.
Bad Breath Spray
The Artero X-Mint will help us prevent bad breath in our pet, also protecting their teeth.
Ear Cleaner
The Artero Oto is the gel we will use to clean our cat's ear canals; it is easy to apply and removes excess wax and dirt.
Repair Cream
We will use Artero Dfender to cover, moisturize, and heal different dry areas on our pet, such as the paw pads or nose.
What is the Persian Cat Like?
- Origin: Iran (formerly Persia).
- Characteristics: Flat face, long and abundant coat.
- Personality: Calm, very domestic, requires frequent brushing.
With its long and dense coat, the Persian cat is the symbol of feline glamour, but also one that requires the most cosmetic care.
Daily brushing is essential to prevent knots and maintain the silkiness of the coat. Regular baths are recommended with moisturizing shampoos and conditioners that nourish without weighing the coat down.
Additionally, due to its flat face, it requires frequent cleaning of the eyes and folds with specific products.
