Care for the Swiss White Shepherd

What is the Swiss White Shepherd like?
The Swiss White Shepherd It is a medium-to-large dog, elegant, athletic, and very well-balanced, with an abundant, protective white double coat. It can come in a medium or long coat variety, but in both cases the hair is straight, dense, and with a well-developed undercoat, giving it plenty of volume and insulation against the weather.
On the head, ears, and front of the limbs the hair is shorter, while on the neck, tail, and back of the legs it gains more length and presence.
From a grooming standpoint, it’s not a breed for decorative clipping or sculpted styling. Its look depends on keeping the natural coat clean, airy, and well worked, always respecting the double coat. It’s a very striking dog for its color and texture, but its upkeep is based more on managing shedding, removing dead hair, and preventing tangles in specific areas than on doing haircuts.
