Caring for a Maltipoo
- Maintenance: Brush 3 times a week and bathe at least once a month.
- Grooming: When brushing always use products that will not damage the coat or skin of your Maltipoo. After brushing always follow up with a comb to check for any hidden knots that may have been missed.
- Haircut: Its standard demands a scissored cut of full round shapes. In pet grooming typically we see them use clippers first to start the shape and then finish with scissors.
- Special Attention: As a white coated dog you may spot brown staining around eyes, this can be maintained with the right product and care.
- Recommended Grooming Appointments: Visit a grooming salon every 6 to 8 weeks depending on the length of the haircut wanted, the longer you wish to keep the hair the less time should be left between appointments. Apart from this the pet should be bathed at least once a month to keep it's white coat clean.
