- Maintenance: Brushing with rubber mitten once a week and monthly bathing is recommended.
Haircut: Shorthair breeds should not be given a haircut. A renewal of the coat by brushing with a rubber mitten, removing excess shedding and lightly grooming with scissors to accentuate the lines is sufficient.
