The Artero Aura 7.5" Chunker Scissors are specifically designed to deliver effortless texturising and precision finishing. Featuring 33 teeth on the upper blade, they create soft, natural-looking finishes by reducing bulk and producing smooth, seamless transitions throughout the coat.

Like the micro-serrated scissors in the Aura range, the Artero Aura Chunkers are crafted from premium Japanese 440C stainless steel, renowned for its exceptional hardness, durability and corrosion resistance. The black titanium coating not only gives the scissors an elegant appearance but also enhances wear resistance, ensuring long-lasting cutting performance.

Recommended Use

Ideal for finishing and texturising dog coats, particularly when a soft, natural finish is required. Perfect for reducing bulk and creating smooth transitions between coat layers.

Instructions for Use

Correct Grip
Place your thumb through the finger ring without the finger rest and your ring finger through the ring with the integrated finger rest.

Cutting Technique

Open and close the scissors using smooth, controlled movements while holding the section of coat between the blades. Keep the blades aligned with an imaginary straight line to ensure an accurate, consistent cut.

Cutting Control

The slower and more controlled your movements, and the more precisely you work the scissors through the coat, the softer and more refined the finish will be.

Texturising

The 33-tooth upper blade is designed to create soft texture and natural-looking finishes without leaving visible cutting marks.

Maintenance

To maintain optimum performance, lubricate the blades with specialist scissor oil and remove any hair and debris after every grooming session. Regular maintenance will ensure smooth operation and maximise the lifespan of the scissors.
