Caring for a Kerry Blue Terrier

Maintenance: Brushing twice a week and monthly bathing is recommended.
Grooming: When brushing always use products that will not damage the coat or skin of your Kerry Blue. After brushing always follow up with a comb to check for any hidden knots that may have been missed.
Haircut: Its standard cut is a scissored cut, leaving a visible wave/curl in the coat. The legs are left with more volume than the body. Their discernable head style with longer hair left to cover the eyes and muzzle. In pet grooming typically we see them use clippers first to start the shape and then finish with scissors.
Special Attention: Dry eyes and dirty ears are common issues, both are easily cared for.
Recommended Grooming Appointments: Once a month for a bath and every 8 weeks for a full trim.

1. BRUSHING

The Kerry Blue's have very curly hair, it is the perfect canvas for various styles.
