How do I register for artero.com?

Is this company environmentally friendly ?

Artero is an environmentally friendly company, therefore, in addition to the care of the skin and hair of our pets, we also take care of the well-being of the environment that surrounds us. Using bamboo compenents and aluminium and/or PE or PET C plastic packaging, our lines of Artero Cosmetics and Tools are kind to the environment. 

Help us complete the chain by properly recycling used packaging.

Artero is a global company with more than 100 years of experience in the world of Professional Pet Grooming and Hygienic Care for our pets. 

Clippers carry a 1 year guarantee against manufacturer defect. All other product & tools have a 14 day guarantee against manufacturer defect. Contact our Customer Service Department via email at [email protected] for all inquiries.

Is online payment secure ?

Credit card transactions through artero.co.uk are completely secure. Your credit card details are processed solely and exclusively on a secure bank server.

Your purchase can be paid with Visa and Master Card 

For greater convenience in your future purchases we offer the possibility of storing your card data and thus save time on your next orders. To do this you just have to select the box indicated at the time of payment. Your data will be stored in our payment provider Adyen, and will never be stored in our system. When making purchases, our system will remind you to use your stored card or add another card. 


When will I receive my order?

Deliveries are processed through UPS or Lynda´s Transport for larger deliveries & will be made according to their days of delivery. Orders usually ship within 24 hours of being placed based on a regular business day schedule. During promotional periods, such as Black Friday, orders may take up to 7 working days to ship.   

What company do you ship with?

Artero uses UPS for small package shipments. They will send you a message via email providing tracking information & status & you can contact them directly should the need arise.  

Can I track my order?

UPS will send automatic tracking information via email. You can contact them directly for status or you can contact our Customer Service Department at [email protected]

Do you offer free shipping?

Mainland UK Orders: Artero offers a Flat Shipping Rate of £7.00 (Incl. VAT) on all mainland orders up to £100.00. Orders of over £100.00 are shipped free of charge. 

UK Offshore Delivery: For all deliveries to NI, Artero offers a flat rate of £18.53 (Incl. VAT).

Can I cancel or modify an order?

Your online order can be modified or canceled by sending an e-mail with the order confirmation number to our Web Order Department at [email protected] as soon as possible. 


Exchanges and returns

Artero offers a period of 14 days from purchase date to exchange or return an item. The item must be returned in its original package & in new condition. You will need to contact our Customer Service Department via email at [email protected] to make all arrangements. Your refund will not include any shipping charges. 

14 days will be calculated from date of invoice.

The refund of the amount in question will be processed as soon as possible & refunds will be issued to the same form of payment used at time of purchase.  

Scissors: Differences in Steel Types

Scissors are composed of several types of steel. 

The type of hardening used in the manufacture and composition of the different steels will directly influence the properties of the scissors.

The 5 most outstanding types of steel:

Steel 440C - It is of Japanese origin and manufactured by Hitachi. The 440C is a top-of-the-range stainless steel high hardness, good edge retention and high resistance to wear and corrosion.

Steel ATS314 - Japanese origin and manufactured by Hitachi. It is an improved version of the 440C and adds a higher percentage of molybdenum to its chemical composition, improves resistance to corrosion, wear and edge retention.

VG-10 Steel - This high-end steel produced by Takefu Special Steel, and in which the G stands for "Gold", in reference to its high quality, was developed by the Japanese industry and it quickly became the favorite of prominent manufacturers around the world. The advantage of this type of steel is that it achieves an extremely fine edge.

Damascus steel - This type of steel is produced by forging welding two or more metals, usually steels, which after heating are welded joining the various plates. Subsequently, the characteristic drawing is marked with acid and the engraving of the metals reveals the layers and gives the contrast, depth and color.

Cobalt steel - Cobalt is a bluish-white ferromagnetic metal. Normally found together with nickel. Cobalt has numerous characteristics, including its high corrosion and high temperature resistance, high wear resistance, & high hardness.
