SHIPPING, PAYMENTS AND RETURNS

At ARTERO, we want to provide you with the best possible shopping experience. Below you will find all the terms and conditions related to payment methods, shipping rates, delivery times, and our automated returns process for orders placed within the United Kingdom.

SECURE PAYMENT METHODS

To ensure maximum security for your transactions, ARTERO uses the global payment platform Adyen, which complies with the strictest SSL encryption protocols and 3D Secure validation systems (mandatory multi-factor authentication via your banking app).

The payment methods fully integrated for the UK channel are:

  • Credit or Debit Cards: Visa and MasterCard.
  • Digital Wallets: Apple Pay.

One-Click Payment (Tokenisation): For a faster checkout experience in your future purchases, you can securely save your card details. This data is encrypted and stored exclusively on Adyen’s secure servers. ARTERO never stores banking or credit card numbers on its own systems. You can manage or delete your saved cards at any time from your Customer Area.

2. SHIPPING CONDITIONS AND RATES

All deliveries within the UK are handled by leading express courier services. Shipping costs and free delivery thresholds vary depending on the destination and user profile:

2.1. Mainland UK

  • Private Customers (B2C):
    • FREE Shipping on all orders over £49.00 (Incl. VAT).
      For orders up to £49.00, a flat shipping rate of £4.49 (Incl. VAT) applies.
  • Groomers & Pet Professionals (B2B):
    • FREE Shipping on all orders over £99.00 (Incl. VAT).
    • For orders up to £99.00, a flat shipping rate of £7.00 (Incl. VAT) applies.
  • Estimated Delivery Time: 48 to 96 working hours.

2.2. UK Offshore Delivery & Special Zones

  • Northern Ireland (NI): A flat shipping rate of £18.53 (Incl. VAT) applies to all orders.
  • Scottish Highlands & Islands, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, and Isles of Scilly: Shipping costs are calculated individually based on volume and weight. Please contact our local customer service team at [email protected] or call +44 1484 799900 before placing your order to get an accurate quote.

Note: Deliveries are made from Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. Orders received after 1:00 PM will be processed on the next working day.

3. STATUTORY CANCELLATION AND RETURNS POLICY

f you have purchased a product as a private consumer (B2C), your rights are fully protected under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

3.1. Right of Cancellation (Cooling-off Period)

You have the right to cancel your purchase and return the product within 14 calendar days from the day you (or a third party authorized by you) receive physical possession of the goods, without giving any reason.

3.2. How to Process a Return? (New Online Returns Portal)

To make your experience faster and entirely digital, ARTERO has launched its new Online Returns Portal. There is no longer any need to print out paper forms or call customer service:

  1. Go directly to our automated logistics platform via the following link ARTERO ONLINE RETURNS PORTAL.
  2. Enter your order number and the email address used during purchase.
  3. Select the items you wish to return and choose your preferred shipping option or local drop-off point.
  4. Pack the item carefully in its original box, including all accessories. It must show no signs of use.

3.3. Shipping Costs for Returns & Refunds

The direct cost of returning the goods shall be borne by the customer, unless the return is due to a shipping error made by ARTERO or a product that has a confirmed manufacturing fault.

Once the package is received and verified at our central UK warehouse, we will issue a full refund within 14 days using the same payment method you used for the initial purchase.

3.4. Strict Hygiene Exclusions

For health, safety, and hygiene protection reasons, returns will not be accepted under any circumstances for:

  • Cosmetic products, shampoos, conditioners, or styling sprays that have been opened or unsealed after delivery.
  • Clippers, trimmers, blades, or scissors that show clear evidence of having been tested or used on hair or animal fur.

4. PRODUCT WARRANTY

  • Private Consumers (B2C): In accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015, electronic items and professional tools are covered against manufacturing defects for a period of 2 years from the delivery date. If a fault occurs within the first 30 days, you are entitled to a full refund or a direct replacement.
  • Professionals (B2B): For commercial or business accounts, ARTERO provides a technical warranty of 12 months from the invoice date. This warranty strictly covers manufacturing defects. It formally excludes damages resulting from natural wear and tear, drops, accidental damage, or lack of mandatory daily maintenance (such as the daily cleaning and lubrication required for blades and scissors).

Shipping conditions

Mainland UK Orders: Artero offers for a professionals a Flat Shipping Rate of £7.00 (Incl. VAT) on all mainland orders up to £99 (Incl. VAT). Orders of over £99 (Incl. VAT) are shipped free of charge. And for private customer, Artero offers a Flat Shipping Rate of £4.49 (Incl. VAT) on all mainland orders up to £49 (Incl. VAT).

UK Offshore Delivery: For all deliveries to NI, Artero offers a flat rate of £18.53 (Incl. VAT).

Returns Policy

At Artero, we strive to guarantee our customer's satisfaction, but in the unlikely event that you are dissatisfied with your purchase, here's what you do:

Please call or email our Customer Service department within 30 days of receipt [email protected]  tel: 014 8479 9900 and provide us with the date of purchase & the reason for returning the item. They will send you a Return Request Form to complete and include with your shipment or you can download the form here. 

Goods must be returned within 30 days of receipt.

If you are returning the product because you have changed your mind, or the product is not as expected, you must advise us within ………days by telephone or email and it must be returned to us unused & in its original packaging. Once we have received & reviewed the item, we will issue a refund within 30 days. In this case, you will be responsible for the return shipping charges to Artero.  

If the product has been damaged in transit, please let us know within 24 hours & make sure to take photos of the package & the goods upon receipt. If there is obvious damage when delivered, please ask the driver to verify & record the issue. Once reviewed, we will issue a credit or re-ship as needed under our discretion. 

If you believe that an item doesn't work or is faulty, please contact us within 7 days of purchase. It must be returned to us in the original packaging. Once received, we will assess the item & issue a credit or exchange as needed for the full value of the item plus return shipping charges. 

We do our very best to avoid errors, but if you are sent an incorrect item, we will cover return shipping charges and will replace the item with the correct product, or issue a refund. 

If you order the incorrect item/size, please advise us within 24 hours & we will exchange the item or issue a credit if preferred. Item must be received unused & in its original packaging. You will be responsible for all shipping for an exchange. We may require additional payment or will issue a refund should there be a difference in the pricing of the item being exchanged.

All goods must be returned to us within 14 days of notification. A copy of the purchase receipt must be provided.  If there is any evidence of manipulation or damage to the product, Artero will not be responsible for issuing an exchange, credit note, or refund.

Refunds will be returned to the debit or credit card used for purchase. (Please allow 7-10 business days for the funds to reach your account)
