Two independent companies, joint controllers of the job board: Artero Inspiring Style, S.A. (owner of www.artero.com) and Artero Bros, S.L. (owner of www.arteroacademy.com) are two different and independent companies. The job board is offered jointly on both websites, so the personal data provided through it (applications, employer accounts, job alerts and related requests) is stored in a shared database and processed by both companies as joint controllers pursuant to Article 26 of the GDPR. You may exercise your rights before either of the two companies using the contact details indicated in this policy.

2. Purpose, lawful basis and retention of processing

In accordance with the provisions of the GDPR, we inform you that your personal data will be processed for the following purposes on the basis of the corresponding conditions of lawfulness:

Sending commercial communications (newsletter): sending offers, promotions and news about Petcare products. Express consent of the user via a tick box (opt-in) or legitimate interest if the user is already a customer (Art. 6(1)(a) / 6(1)(f) GDPR). Until the user withdraws their consent or exercises their right to object.
User account management: creating and administering your personal account on the web platform to facilitate future purchases. Performance of a contract / application of pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Until the user requests the cancellation of their account or profile.

3. Recipients of the data (disclosures)

Your personal data will not be disclosed to third parties outside ARTERO, except in the following cases necessary for the performance of the service:

  • Logistics and transport service providers: to carry out the physical delivery of the products purchased.
  • Banks and payment gateways: for the management of payments and transfers.
  • Legal obligation: to public administrations (the Tax Authorities, Judges and Courts, etc.) where required by the applicable regulations.
  • Data processors: technology service providers (web hosting, email marketing tools) acting under a data processing agreement that guarantees the security of your information.

No international transfers of data outside the European Economic Area (EEA) are carried out unless adequate safeguards are in place (such as Standard Contractual Clauses of the European Commission).

4. Users' rights (ARCO+ rights)

As the data subject, the regulations grant you the following rights, which you may exercise entirely free of charge:

  • Right of access: to know which of your data we are processing and for what purpose.
  • Right to rectification: to request the correction of data that are inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten"): to request the deletion of your data when, among other reasons, they are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected.
  • Right to object: to object to the processing of your data (for example, for the sending of advertising).
  • Right to restriction of processing: to request that we temporarily suspend the processing of your data in the cases established by law.
  • Right to data portability: to receive your data in a structured, commonly used format, or to have them transmitted directly to another controller.
  • Right to withdraw consent: at any time, for processing based on your prior authorisation.

How can you exercise your rights?

5. Data security

ARTERO adopts the technical and organisational measures necessary to guarantee the security of personal data and to prevent their alteration, loss, unauthorised processing or access, taking into account the state of the art, the nature of the data stored and the risks to which they are exposed. The website uses secure encryption protocols (HTTPS/SSL) in all communications involving personal data.

6. Amendments to the privacy policy

ARTERO reserves the right to amend this policy in order to adapt it to legislative or case-law developments. In such cases, the changes introduced will be announced on this page reasonably in advance of their implementation.
